Xiangxi ICH and folk custom performance

The performance on featured intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items and folk customs of Xiangxi Prefecture was held in Dehang Miao Village, Jishou City on June 4. It demonstrated the inheritance, protection and utilization achievements of Xiangxi’s ICH from many aspects through a series of activities like ICH performances, on-site explanation, study as well as experience.

At present, there are one UN ICH item of humanity, 28 national-level ICH items, 93 provincial-level ICH items and 278 prefectural-level ICH items.
